Overview
★ Handcrafted in Japan | Nickel Silver Mounted
J. Thibouville-Lamy M. Series bows represent a harmonious blend of traditional French design and refined Japanese craftsmanship.
Handmade in a specialist Japanese workshop established in 1983, each bow draws inspiration from the proportions of the great 19th-century French masters, while incorporating workshop refinements that make them naturally balanced and exceptionally easy to play.
Carefully selected stick materials - seasoned Pernambuco for violin bows, and Ipe for viola and cello - provide strength, resonance, and stability. A nickel silver-mounted ebony frog with a mother-of-pearl slide, a cowhide grip, and silver-plated copper winding ensures both durability and elegance. The result is a collection of bows that deliver smooth handling, tonal warmth, and outstanding performance for advancing musicians and professionals alike.
Each M. Series bow bears the distinctive hand-stamped single-star hallmark.
